DESIGN TEAM

Design team projects are both exciting and challenging because besides the physical, structural and cultural complexities of the project. Beyond the research and inquiry to understand the location and project parameters, many diverse entities navigated and collaborated with – governmental agencies and personnel, community groups and individuals, a range of design and science disciplines, fabricators and suppliers, etc. They typically take some years to complete from start to finish.

SITE INTEGRATED

Artwork concepts for site integrated projects are derived from an investigation and understanding of the particular character, social and cultural history, and parameters of a specific location. That location exists within a community and the artwork should interact with and contribute to the overall experience of the place.
